We've been trying to teach Eric sign as well as working with a speech therapist. He's doing pretty good with it. He knows "eat", "more", "baby", "book", and several others. One of his favorite
Christmas gifts was a big sack of balls, the kind like you see in the ball pits at fast food restaurants. He loves to throw them down the basement stairs. I want to teach him the sign for "ball" but I can't find the book the ST gave us. Can you help?

erm...our sign for ball is to make a circle shape with two flat hands, starting at the top with your palms pointing downwards, and ending with palms up at the bottom of the circle.
See: this website (http://commtechlab.msu.edu/Sites/aslweb/browser.htm)
Under the "Bs" look for the word "ball" and you will find a video of a person signing ball.

I like the dictionary at www.aslpro.com (http://www.aslpro.com/). They have video clips for pretty much anything you can think of.

I like Signing Savvy and ASL Pro - but Signing Savvy lets you make direct links to the sign, which is helpful when teaching nurses :)
