We only know once puss starts running out of her ear,,she has never run a fever with just an ear infection,,she doesn't pull at her ear or anything like what you are used to looking for,,she has a really high pain tolerance and doesn't even show any signs that there is an ear infection there!! She has tubes but with all her slobber pooling back there over night and during naps she still gets ear infections.
I recently tried to get approved though medicaid to get Botox to the salivary glands as I know that all her slobber pooling back in her ears causes the ear infections and dripping down into her lungs constantly is causing the pneumonia, BUT KS medicaid denied us!!!!

I am sorry! With my son, we never knew he had an ear infection until he had drainage come out of his ear.

Addisyn was pulling at her ear before she went to the hospital, but the PICU dr said it looked normal.

xox to celia. hope she gets better really really quickly.

:( Poor Celia! to her.

emily sometimes pokes her ears a little bit, but not much. she doesn't complain about pain in the ears, but she does say her mouth is sore when she eats, which we are guessing is pain down her jaw.

from now on we're just going to have a look in her ears with an ear scope (no idea what they're called?!) to see if they are red looking.

more xxx to celia!

Hope Celia starts to feel better.

Knock on wood, I nor my children have ever experienced an ear infection. I have heard they can be painful.

What are the signs of the beginning of one?
