Cedric also had a debridment of the polyps yesterday because he was starting to bleed from the trach a little and Dr. Preciado thought it was time to eliminate all the polyps blocking the upper airways. This would be his 44th surgery I believe.

The surgery seemed to have gone well - but now he bleeds quite a bit from the trach and sleeps even more than before.

He is doing Ok otherwise still in the PICU but in good hands. Nurses still fighting over who is going to take care of him.

Poor Cedric, I'm sorry it needed another surgery, but good that the polyps are gone. Hope they can stay gone for good!:hug:
