Our Pulm appt

Our pulm appt went well. We are letting her grow out of the diuretic (aldactone). He ordered a chest x-ray to make sure everything is going in the right direction and we go back in 6 weeks. I guess the next step is going to start to decide when the trach comes out. Apparantly our ENT is conservative and he is not. He said he will pull it out if he feels it needs tocome out, but nothing is going to happen in the next 6 months due to her history. He said it will probably come out once it has been there for a year- which was right around Christmas. We have an ENT appt and will prob have a bronch in June to see how she is progressing.

He was also glad that we put the hole in the PMV. He said people in Phoenix thinks he is crazy when he tells them that he will do it- he said one lady never came back. He stated that medicine in AZ is weird and stated if she were seeing the Dr's in Cincinatti, her care would be totally different. (he is from California).

I can certainly vouch for that and it's the reason I travel 1500 miles (to St. Louis Children's Hosp.) for the majority of Jack's care!

Glad you had a good appointment. Jack sees his pulm at the same office on Thursday. :)

Ann- maybe one of these days we will run into eachother there. I think there is only one doc in the office at a time though.
