Hi All,
Jasmin had appointment at Mass Eye and Ear with Dr. Hartnick. She had a bronch, and GI looksey.
Well, her airway still is narrow where he did the reconstruction. Vocal cords look fine and have plenty of room. Area below trach looks fine and roomy.
We've decided to wait until April of next year to see how well her airway looks.
There has been mention of having to possibly do a tracheal resection. Can anyone help me understand this more? Is it more risky than the LTP? Is it a harder surgery? Would this be the "last Surgery" or would she possibly require more? How much trachea do they remove?
