Are you looking for assistance with medical supplies and medicines? What type of financial assistance? We live in North Carolina and I am familiar with some programs for assistance in these areas....but actual money assistance I'm not sure. I could try to find out some more if you let me know your needs.
Just curious is this friend a mom of a trached little one in North Carolina?? Just wondering how close they are to us?

Ok I guess I'm still sleeping when I went back to the main board I saw you were looking also for medicaid info. I can give you that info. There is a program called CAP-C. (community Alternatives program for children). it is a form of medicaid, however acceptance is not decided on the families income. It's based on the disabilities of the child. There are two levels of care... a hospital level and a skilled level. I could give you more info. on these levels if you'd like. The number is 919-857-4021.
this does aid in pharmacy needs, doc visits, dme supplies and nursing. Hope this helps...
