My son also starts pre-school this fall. In fact today I went to school and met his teacher and observed the class for a little while this morning. In two weeks we plan to take Jimmy in and just let him observe for awhile and get used to the situation. He gets frightened in a large group of people even though the class only has eight students I still want to give him some time to get used to it. I think the feelings that we have when our kids go to school are similar to the feelings that other parents have when their kids start school. I know its hard to let go, but I think that he's going to enjoy it once he gets used to it.
