How to add a youtube video

You can embed a youtube video directly into your posts by using the youtube button in the tool bar. Click on the youtube button on the tool bar (just above the message box, second to last button). This will place the words youtube in brackets. Place the link to your video between the two youtube brackets to embed a video.

Cindy, I used to be able to do this no problem but now it's not working. Has something changed? Does this only work for videos hosted on YouTube but not other websites?

Okay, that really is as easy as could be. I swear I did that. Maybe it was down that day for some reason. All I could get was a link no matter how many different ways I tried it, not the video to actually embedded. Thank you! I'll be ready for next time.

Okay, I guess the thing is it has to be truly hosted by YouTube? I was trying to embed this: http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/eng/aimee_mullins_prosthetic_aesthetics.html It is a video on TED. But perhaps it's either that, or they don't allow you to embed this video.
