[Kara Beth's Mommy]

My name is Rachel and I have 1 child. Her name is Kara and she was born April 9, 2004. She was full term born by c-section. She had lots of physical issues when she was born. At about 2 1/2 months she had a g-tube and fundo placed and about 1 week later had to have a trach. She was vent dependant for 14 months and we were told by the dr's that she would never come off from it. She has Vater syndrome and also has brain damage from when she was 5 1/2 weeks old when she did not breath for 5 minutes. She is the light of my life and I would be lost without her. I have to agree with Dawna, I AM COMPLETELY INSANE (but in a good way, maybe http://www.tracheostomy.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tongue.gif )

Yep Rachel you are completely insane but that is why I love ya so much! :-) Besides that cute little girl you have sure makes the deal a lot more sweet too, glad we are friends.
