Lily's Mom

Hi everybody,
I took Lily to the ENT yesterday for her followup visit after getting her trach put back in (ugh). She has a small granuloma at the stoma site like she did the first time she got the trach. (We lived in Cincinnati then) That time we cauterized it with silver nitrate sticks and it went away. I asked this ENT about it and she said to put *vinegar* on it. Huh? Anybody ever heard of this? Is she treating a granuloma or making a salad? Call me crazy, but if a granuloma is an inflammatory reaction, wouldn't putting acetic acid (vinegar) on it make it worse? Or is this just how they do medicine in Georgia? (cue banjo music)
