Had emergency

My son who's on a vent and g-tube 24/7 had a really bad seizure and had to go to hospital! My husband blames it on the nurse that was on duty! I don't think it was anyones fault! It just happened! They just wisked him awy in the ambulance! I had to stay home with my younger son who's 4 yrs old. Waiting to hear what's happening so we can go over later. I'm really scared! Over the holidays he had pnemonia and was just getting back on track! I'm really afraid he's not going to make it another year! He just had his 8th birthday on January 15! I don't know what to do anymore!I know he's not going to live forever, but I'm not ready to let him go! I wish my husband would call me and tell me exactlyy what's going on! I just talked to him he's fine, there taking some tests and he'll get back to me. Keep us in your prayers please?

Remember that you are strong, no one can go through everything you have without strength and even just from your words I know that you can get through this. our thoughts and prayers are with you. How scary to be home waiting for an update.. waiting is very hard. I hope your husband calls soon with an update. What time did they take him? Can you give a call over and talk to a nurse just to get a quick update?

[SIZE="4"]:) My son Billy seems to be doing okay. They just found earache and slight dehydration from the dierrea he's had the last couple of days. O2 sats are running a little low, but he seems okay. Thank you all for your prayers and support! Hopefully he'll get better and stronger!

I'm sorry to hear that. I don't really know much about seizures. It must have been awfully scary. I know you've had some hard times recently. :hug: & :pray:. I hope he turns a corner after cold and flu season is over (or sooner) and has a nice long stretch of good health. P.S. It's nice to see a picture along with your posts.
