By the time we get nursing, I won't want it anymore. I guess we are entitled to 48 hours a week from the state of AZ. Unfortunately, the departments that offer her all of these services (speech, Ot, PT), are facing huge budget cuts. I could care less about the nursing. Things are normal now, although a different normal. If she looses out on speech, OT, and PT, I am going to be pretty upset. Lucky for me, speech is covered by my insurance.

I'd take it if you can. If nothing else, it will be nice to have someone watch Addisyn while you run errands. I get respite for Gabriel and use it when we go to concerts, the movies, or if I just need to go to the store.
I agree with you on the speech, OT, and PT...those services are invaluable!

Most people say take if you can get it, but I honestly feel if you don't need it don't bother. Unless you really need it, in my opinion nursing is so not worth the headache. We have been without it for a year now, and its been the most peaceful year at our house ever. No more worrying if nurses can be on time, or stay awake, no more 10 calls a day saying someone is sick. Much happier for us. We weren't allowed to leave Emma with our nurses to run errands anyway so all nursing was to us was a 2 or 3 adult in the house, sitting and watching me work.
It is a personal choice, and I think those who really want it or need it should use it. But if you don't want it, don't take it.
I hope they don't cut your other services
