Anybody ever herd of Silva-Sorb?

Anthony gets a bit of granulation tissue built up every once and a while. His Doc gave us a RX to use once weekly around his g-tube. It is called Silva Sorb. It seems to be doing its job, but if you forgot one week man does the tissue built up again. I was just curious :)

NO I havent heard of it, but thanks for the idea, we still have to go to GI for Emma's. We missed her appt because she was really sick before. I am curious to see what others here might say about it

Stef, Collin gets (has) horrible granulation tissue issues. :( He never had a perfect g-tube site. His tube leaks because if it leaving the skin irritated. I have to keep it dry and its very annoying. Silver Nitrate works but I can't get near him with the sticks and it bothers him so I don't bother. I just use a dressing and some stomahesive 2-3x a day if I' lucky to do it that often.

I think I'm going to e-mail his GI doctor for this Silva Sorb stuff. Do you know who the manufacturer is? In case the doc has never heard of it?
