wood burning fireplace

We want to put a wood burning fireplace in the new house--what do you know about this and a child w/a trach. ??? Good/bad? What have your pulmonologist say about this?

had one in both of our houses. used em also!! just make sure you keep an HME on him around it, and keep the chimney cleaned and the flue open!!
Ours hasn't said much about it being bad.

Thanks-I did a search and it looks like it really is just a choice-as long as you are careful and make sure they don't dry out and keep it clean you are ok--

I agree with Leslie, as long as Mitchell wears a hme and you have the chimney cleaned regularly it shouldn't be a problem.
