Tracheostomy.com is not responsible for any posts or comments to the tracheostomy.com Facebook group. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of tracheostomy.com.

Please limit discussion to seeking and sharing of information pertaining to tracheostomy care, medical issues, special needs, disabilities, networking and moral support. No solicitations and no advertising is allowed on the Facebook group. This includes the selling and buying of equipment and supplies. Donating supplies is permitted and members may post an authentic review or recommendation based on their personal experience. No soliciting for donations or fundraisers such as GoFundMe drives.

You agree, through your use of the Facebook group that you will not post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person’s privacy, or which violates any law. Please use common courtesy and avoid any “trolling,” inappropriate language or “flamming”. Flamming means making a post which is derogatory toward any group or individual. You are welcome to speak in support or opposition of a topic, but always make sure you are attacking the issue and not a person or group of people. Be careful when using sarcasm and humor. Without face to face communication jokes may be viewed as criticism. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material without permission. Any information provided through the Facebook group should not be used as a substitute for professional advice by qualified doctors and/or therapists.

Any user who feels that a posted message violates these Terms of Service is encouraged to report post by clicking on the small arrow in the upper right corner of the post, then click on “report post to group admins” from the drop-down list. We have the ability to remove objectionable posts and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. Members may also be blocked from using the group at the discretion of the group administrators.
